Since forming in November 2009, The Marshall Band have established themselves as the most in demand party and wedding band in England, the wider county and across the entire length of England.
Their set comprises of classic songs from across the decades, always entertaining audiences from every generation. Their path has already crossed such prestigious venues as the Capital FM Arena, Rock City, and Nottingham Royal Concert Hall as well as stately homes and castles in Cornwall, Rutland, Derbyshire, The Lake District and The Scottish Highlands.
In the bands' first two years alone, they supported bands including 'The Wanted', opened for 'Top of The UK Charts', sold over 10,000 records, raised over £20,000 for charity, released the hit world cup record 'Raise Your Voice' and played 40+ sell out shows!
The band is fronted by lead guitarist Ben Marshall and more often than not, joined by local legend Phil Rostance. Away from the band, Phil is an accomplished performer in his own rights and Ben, an East Midlands born recording engineer has a CV that includes the likes of Bon Jovi, The Killers, Take That, U2 and The Stereophonics.
The majority of the band's engagements now come in the form of weddings, private parties and corporate functions.
Since they became the 'Official Band of Trent FM' in December 2009, the band have become the first band ever to play live on the Trent FM (Now Capital FM) breakfast show as well as playing 'The Race For Life Launch' and a number of Christmas Lights Road Shows with Capital FM.
